ASME’s External Team manages industry sponsorships, organizes networking events, and provides professional development opportunities such as resume reviews and interview preparation to help members connect with industry professionals and advance their careers.
Professional development
To help our students best prepare for industry and research opportunities, we host events and provide resources to help students develop their professional skills with resume reviews, career fair preparation seminars, and our professional development handbook.

Our team strives to have students connect and contribute to various communities, ranging from the surrounding WL/Lafayette area, to other ASME organizations at other universities, and even to international partners!

Industrial Relations
Our team works to help members network with various industry partners and secure their dream internship or job! This past semester our team hosted the Corporate Banquet for students to network with various company representatives and numerous info sessions to help students learn about great job opportunities!
