Biomechanics
ASME Biomechanics focuses on the intersection of engineering and human biology, developing projects to improve health, mobility and accessibility. Projects range from accessible vehicles to advanced prosthetics, equipping members with the skills to make a difference in diverse engineering applications.
The ASME Biomechanics Onboarding sub team will be designing and manufacturing working prosthetic hands by the end of the fall 2026 semester. Teaching Purdue students with little engineering background CAD and Electronics skills that translate to industry and research.
