ASME Purdue Energy develops innovative renewable energy solutions across a range of hands-on projects. Current teams focus on a hydrogen fuel cell, wind turbine, hydropower, and manual generation, with both the Wind and Hydropower teams competing in the Collegiate Wind Competition and Hydropower Collegiate Competition.

Our Manual Generation Team is building a hand-crank system to illuminate a light bulb, helping students visualize energy conversion while learning core electrical fundamentals through hands-on design.
