Sustainability
Hydroponics
The Sustainability Team is working on two separate projects, the first is an automated hydroponics system. The goal of this project is to create a system that will produce fresh fruits and vegetables for local schools and food pantries year round, while automating the system as much as possible. The project will use electronics, programming, and computer aided-design in its development and will be built by the very team that creates it!
Water Transpo
The second project is an apparatus that will help transport water over large distances. The goal of this project is to design and deliver a product that will help reduce the time needed to transport water. This project will use CAD to complete a comprehensive design process and ultimately build a working prototype. The end goal of this project is to help residents of other countries transport water, and the members of this team will have the chance to learn valuable skills while also helping other people.
